NDR 245 hydrocarbon rubber is a semi-crystalline ethylene-propylene-diene (EPDM) terpolymer with very low diene content used as a viscosity modifier in formulated multigrade motor oils, greases and lubricants. NDR 245 is manufactured with INSITE™ technology.
NORDEL™ IP 3640 Hydrocarbon Rubber is a low-diene, amorphous ethylene-propylene-diene (EPDM) terpolymer and is suitable for heat-resistant, peroxide-cured moldings. NORDEL IP 3640 can be mixed with butyl rubber to improve the processing and vulcanization properties of automobile and bicycle tire tubes.

Product Description: 12-Hydroxystearic acid is the mixed fatty acid obtained by hydrolysis of hydrogenated castor oil. It is a waxy, brittle solid with a high melting point at room temperature. It should be stored away from heat to avoid deterioration.

12-HSA is used as a thickener for silicone grease, as a rubber activator/accelerator, and in the manufacture of certain personal care products, among other applications. |

Hydrogenated castor oil in its unmodified state is usually available for sale in the form of a hard, brittle block, flake, or yellowish-white powder. It is insoluble in water and completely odorless. Specifically, this substance is produced during hydrogenation, a chemical reaction that takes place during the combination, by catalysis, of pure castor oil with hydrogen.

Diethylene glycol is used in the manufacture of polyester resins, polyurethanes, and saturated and unsaturated plasticizers. DEG is used as a building block in organic synthesis, for example of morpholine and 1,4-dioxane. It is a solvent for nitrocellulose, resins, dyes, oils and other organic compounds. Most ethylene glycol antifreeze contains a small percentage of diethylene glycol, present as a byproduct of ethylene glycol production.
